Inaugural Ojai Valley Half-Marathon

The Half-Marathon is Saturday October 3 at 7:00am. The event runs through historic downtown Ojai, oak lined neighborhoods, orchards, along the river and ends in Soule Park. Post-race festivities, awards.
We have extended the $60 entry fee to race day. Participants that entered before Sept. 15th will get a Technical Running Tee. Entries after will get a Cotton Race Tee until supplies run out. Race day entries may not get a shirt. If you are mailing in your entry it must be recieved by Sept. 30th.
On Oct. 2nd, Packet Pick-up will be from 10 to 3pm at Inside Track in Ventura. Then from 4 to 7pm at Help of Ojai in Ojai (Located next to the town hall). You can also register for the race at packet pick up. If you are picking up your packet the morning of the race or registering, it is at The Starting Area.
The only official parking is at Soule Park (it is $4.00 per car, charged by the park, honor system. If you fail to get a tickekt stub, you will get ticketed (a $30.00 ticket)). There will be a shuttle to the start area. You can park near the starting line and get a shuttle back to the start after the race. Parking there is at your own discretion.We are providing the shuttles with help from Help of Ojai and Nordoff High School.
There will be port-a-potties at the start and at the half way point there is a port-a-pottie. Water stops are about every two miles.
The course map below is basically correct. Due to the bridge on Ojai Ave. still under construction, the route has changed slightly by order of Caltrans. The course will be well marked with plenty of volunteers and course markings. Please thank the volunteers as you run by.
